Casa Alternavida
Casa Alternavida is a boutique wellness retreat center offering a high-touchpoint, guided retreat experience for curious, growth-minded individuals and groups. They set out to inspire renewed passion, refresh purpose, and strengthen the connection to nature and yourself.
The Casa Alternavida team is very intentional about maintaining a high vibrational space. Between guest bookings, they perform an energy clearings, daily calibrations of the space using quartz crystals that are built into the walls creating an invisible grid of love and protection, and encompass the property with plants that grow fresh food with the same high vibration.

Casa Alternavida's rooms accommodate 1-2 guests per room offering 4 queen beds, 2 doubles, and 2 singles. Perfect for solo travelers, friends, couples, or those who are open to share a room with a new travel friend!
The rooms are programmed energetically to support deep, quality sleep with the support of a nature inspired interior design theme and spectacular views to nature.
Food That Fuels
Your all-inclusive retreat includes a curated cultural food experience with farm-to-table organic meals prepared by a local in-house chef. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included along with infused waters, local fruit juices, teas, and filtered rainwater. Lunch and dinner will include fresh, healthy, and authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.
Locally sourced ingredients are prioritized, using what is in the Casa Alternavida garden while also leveraging relationships with several nearby farms that make weekly deliveries. These foods are of the highest quality to support optimal nutrition and hydration during your stay leaving you satisfied and raising you to a higher health frequency.

Experience the benefits and healing of yoga regardless of your level. Your host, Sri, will guide you through a 45-minute energetic sunrise yoga flow on the rooftop overlooking the national rainforest and a gentle evening flow each day. There is no obligation to attend each session.

Meditation
Meditation is an amazing tool for anyone wanting access to a peaceful mind. This session is for all regardless of experience level. Your practitioner will first take time to understand why each individual wants to meditate then will lead several sample meditations based on preference and focus.

Experience the power of the breath. You will be guided through specific breathing exercises and techniques. This potent and revitalizing practice is known to offer instant benefits impacting the autonomic nervous system, lowering heart rate, regulating blood pressure and decreasing the amount of stress hormones released in the body.

Enjoy a rooftop cacao ceremony under the open sky at sunset. Guided by a local practitioner, this peaceful addition to your stay includes movement and interactive exercises to support heart opening and emotional connection. Enjoy membership access to a beautiful beach that is less than 1 mile away from Casa Alternavida. There is over 4 miles of beach area to walk safely and great areas for easy swimming. This beach has access to the shade in the afternoon, coconut groves for gathering in semi-private settings, body surfing, and a waist-deep swimming area.

Meet Your Hosts
For over a decade now, Sri has been on a journey of self-discovery and it all began with yoga. As intimidated as she was with her initial practice, her innate intuition pushed her to continue. She later became a certified yoga instructor In March 2017, earning her E-RYT 200 certification in Hatha Yoga and developed leading Vinyasa, Power, and Yin classes both privately and publicly. She is actively continuing her education in earning an additional 300 hour training certification.
As her journey continued, overall health and well-being become more of a priority. From developing a healthier mindset, eating cleaner food, becoming more connecting to her inner self, to living more mindfully in each moment.
After co-leading her first retreat in Kenya, Africa in 2021, Sri knew she wanted to continue leading people through this type of transformative experience. She was called to lead this retreat in Puerto Rico, where she has familial roots as well as in Africa.
Sri's intention with this retreat is to apply her passion, knowledge, and skillset of yoga that she developed over the years to the guests allowing the opportunity for them to leave a better and higher version of themselves.

manager, is impeccable with hospitality details and organization. Yancy, the founder, is a master facilitator and wealth of knowledge around retreat planning, nature guiding, and conscious communication. Jenny (left) is the house beautification specialist and nature adventure guide with an abundance of
knowledge and passion for their local flora and fauna.

FAQ
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand life happens and want to accommodate unexpected cancellations to your retreat to the best of our ability. With this in mind, our policy allows us to ensure that our team and the retreat home employees are properly compensated for the time, energy, and financial contribution it takes to plan the retreat.
Cancellations made by March 9th will receive 50% of the payment made minus the non-refundable deposit and any associated fees.
Cancellations made by March 10th-April 9th will receive 25% of the payment made minus the non-refundable deposit and any associated fees.
Cancellations made by April 10th will not receive any kind of refund payment.
No partial refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
Your deposit (price varies depending on room booked) is non-refundable.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via e-mail to hellomyconnection@gmail.com.
PAYMENT POLICY
The non-refundable deposit stated about reserves your spot on the retreat, or you can pay your balance in full. If you are doing a payment plan, the remaining balance due will be set to charge in 6 month installments starting the month after deposit. If you have any questions or requests regarding payments, please reach out to us at hellomyconnection@gmail.com.
If you applied the $500 early bird special and your initial deposit was less than $500, your 2nd payment will include the difference to ensure you get the full discount.
TRAVEL
Plan to arrive in San Juan at the Luiz Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). Transportation will be arranged to and from the airport as a part of your retreat cost.
Check-in to the retreat home is at 3pm on the 9th and checkout is at 11am on the 14th.
As Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, a passport is not necessary to travel unless being used as a form of personal identification.
